Allen Matsunaga's 8th grade class for the 1961-62
Across the street from the terminal, there is
a rise of ground that now has a cross on it. While I was there,
instead of the cross, they had a large white painted anchor and a
directional sign which were both removed as soon as the Army took
full possession of the island. |

Elweena, maid from Ebeye, helped at the home. Mimi
remembers the worst thing for us kids was having to drink powdered
milk. After leaving the Navy, Mimi's father, Stanley, continued to
work in aerospace/tech industry in the Silicon Valley area
