as an autonomous corporation in this Pacific environment, the company had available the total resources of the LTV Aerospace Corporation.

Ham Radio Club, KX6BQ / KX6BU, Kwajalein, MI
 Here is my Amateur Radio Station that I used and made good use of set up in my
trailer. I got on the air at around noon just about every day just for about 30 or 40
minutes running phone patches back to the USA mainland for those people that
couldn't afford phone calls or for anyone that needed to make a call to their relatives
or loved ones. It was an exciting time and the people really appreciated the calls we
made. I also did the same thing from the Amateur Radio Club Shack KX6BQ / KX6BU
on the week-ends for about 6 or 7 hours each day on he week ends depending on
the signal clarity for those calls. Each caller had about 10 or 15 minutes to talk some-
times more depending on how many people were waiting to get thru. Sometimes
there were quite a bunch...
