Reminta M. King, 88, of Lenexa, KS,
passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Shawnee Mission Medical
Center. Services will be Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:00 am at the
Porter Funeral Home 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215, with burial at
Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry, KS.
Reminta was born August 3, 1923, in Severy, Kansas to Fred and
Florence(Perry) Rasmuson. Aunt Mintie married Raymond King on August
4, 1956 and was a school teacher in the area for over 50 years.
Reminta is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and two
sisters. Survivors include niece Sunnye Lovell, two great nieces
Tiffany (Chris) McCurdy, Jessica (Tony) Lovell-Carro, Stepson Kip King
(Susan), step grandchildren Debra (Kevin) Gannon, Robert (Molly) King,
Five great-great nieces and nephews and 3 great grandchildren. |
