Jon Wadlowe, 57, of Kansas City, Kan., died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at
the University of Kansas Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
on Friday, August 14, at Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory;
burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m.

Dayton, Ohio, and had lived in the Kansas City, Kan., area most of his
adult life. Jon received a master's in education from Emporia State
University and was involved in various business ventures. Most recent
was his passion for promoting professional wrestling events and
fundraising for Children's Leukemia. Jon was preceded in death by his
parents, the Rev. Emory and Effie Wadlowe. He is survived by his
daughter, Devin Wadlowe of Olathe, Kan., and a brother, Emory Wadlowe
of Kansas City, Mo. Jon was all about living his life to the fullest.
He will be missed by the many friends whose lives he touched daily.
