Robert Lawrence "Bob" Ragan, 64, of Nixa, Missouri, formerly of
Clinton, Mo., died early Friday morning, July 7, 2017 at his home in
Nixa. He was born August 25, 1952 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of
George Lawrence Ragan and Eleanore Jeanne (Robertson) Ragan. On August
4, 1973, in Kansas City, KS., Bob married Leila Micheale Sledd. She
survives of the home. Bob was a longtime realtor with Remax Truman
Lake, receiving numerous agent awards. Among the awards he received
was the top commission for the Missouri and Kansas region. He was a
team player and all enjoyed working with him. He was a 1970 graduate
of Washington High School, Kansas City, Kansas. He was a member of The
River Church in Warsaw, Mo., where he was a deacon and served various
administrative duties. He enjoyed playing tennis and pool, pheasant
hunting, but most importantly, he enjoyed serving God and being with
his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one
daughter, Carolyn Micheale Jones, Jenks, Oklahoma; two sons, Matthew
Todd Ragan and wife Jill, Clinton, Mo., and Adam Ryan Ragan and wife
Patricia, Nixa, Mo.; ten grandchildren, Brittany Nichole Balke, Tanner
Kohl Jones, Caleb Michael Jones, Ella Grace Jones, Zoey Micheale
Jones, Madalynn LeAnn Ragan, Shelby Nowell Ragan, Patrik Lawrence
Ragan, Dominic Parker Ragan, and Brodrik Robert Ragan; his father,
George L. Ragan, Blairstown, Mo.; two sisters, Judith Lynn Carter and
husband Tom, Kansas City, Ks., and Lea Ann Graybill and husband
Claude, Blairstown, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by his mother. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday,
July 9, 2017 at The River Church, 28863 Commercial Avenue, Warsaw, Mo.
Interment will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery, Racket, Mo. |
