Constance Gail Laymon, 63, Lawrence, KS, died Friday, November 27, 2015 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.  A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, KS. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. 

Connie was born on August 5, 1952 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Charles and Jesse (Gineste) Laymon. She had a great love for her family and friends. She spent most of her time enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She played video games and loved watching scary movies, Golden Girls and Charmed reruns. She loved going out on the boat with Michelle and Brian. Holidays, family reunions and Marty’s cooking also brought her great joy. She loved everyone around her deeply and enjoyed keeping in touch with everyone.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, her sister, mother and grandson. Survivors include her father, Charles Laymon, Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Missy (Marty) Rurode, Moore Haven, FL and Michelle (Brian) Richeson, Ozawkie; two brothers, Warren Dean Laymon and John Laymon; three sisters, Charlotte Weinstein, Carolyn Ewell and Julia Burbage; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
