1952-2015 Greta E. Crockett, 62, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 19, 1952 to Kelley and Arlene (Melchert) Crockett in Kansas City, Kansas. Greta was the Director of Nursing at several Kansas City area hospitals throughout her career. She was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Greta was an accomplished singer and musician and also acted in her younger years. She was an animal lover and enjoyed rehabbing old houses. Her wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cary Schly; and nephew, Todd Crockett. Survivors: sister, Sandy Lewis (Bill); brothers, Bruce Crockett (Chris), Scott Crockett (Debra); nieces, Michelle Anspaugh (Clayton), Alyssa Crockett; and nephew, Mark Monnier (Susan); and longtime friend, Patricia Kennedy.
