Today, September 4, 2020,  I met Jerry Ingram while performing at the piano and singing for the Senior Living Community. During my performance, I mentioned that I worked for 23 years at Kwajalein.  After my performance, Jerry and I started talking about Kwajalein and I learned Jerry was a tank commander with Marines and he was in the battle of Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.  I informed Jerry I worked at Roi-Namur for more than 8 years out of my 23 years of time at Kwajalein atoll. He provided me a CD that covers much of the history of his life.  He told me he lied to get into the military and joined then Marines when he was 15. He also told me he was a tank commander and there were 5 men in each tank. I look forward to performing there again just to get more time to talk with Jerry in the future.  The following link is about Jerry Ingram and his life: https://www.patriotfeatures.org/portfolio/jerry-ingram/  (Jerry tank in the video is "Jungle Jim") - Enjoy, Shermie
