| I was RM3c with Argus 21 a radar fighter-director outfit trained at Port Hueneme, CA and at Barber's Point, Hawaii and was with the first outfit on Roi-Namur, Marshall Islands Flintlock Operation. We went ashore the minute the island was secured by the 4th Marines and set up our radar antennas and our radio van transmitter. I served from Jan '44 to Aug '45 on Roi.
