Memories Bring Tears
As I went through the Kwajers Community Website, I can not hold up my running tears down my eyes as reminiscences ran through my mind looking at the Kwaj videos, listening to the much moving patriotic songs, watching Emon Beach and all the swimmers on the Emon beach.  Page by page, as I view my tears keeping running as I also remember growing up on the Holmberg Gulf Course, our Marshallese Camp we stayed at during the post war reconstruction years of i944-1952.  My tears flowed throughout viewing the post war years of growing up on Kwaj with the U.S. Military where it is now Holmberg Gulf Course and I myself I saw and grew up with and known many of those Naval and Military Officers.  My father, Lino Korab, had worked with them as a supply officer during the war in the Solomon and Tarawa then to Kwajalein and finally back home from the Solomon islands.  Kwaj is the most beautiful American Pacific isle paradise of the Pacific islands and even to this very day and for the coming 66 more years of the Compact of Free Association Agreement.  Thanks much for the best of the Pacific paradise of the USA in the Pacific, Kwajalein.  Thanks so much Shermie and to all Kwaj Veterans and Kwajers.
